You are invited to an informal Union meeting after school on Wednesday, May 16 at 3:30 pm with your BCGEU local chair, Amber Keane, and Staff Representative, Oliver Rohlfs.

Oliver will speak to Union members' rights and responsibilities re: progressive discipline and rights to representation and to a steward under your collective agreement.

Amber wishes to engage in an open, more general conversation about the workplace challenges and concerns in your workplace. We will be available to answer any questions.

As BCGEU Local 703 chair, Amber is your elected representative within the union. She represents Union members in the BCGEU's Education, Scientific and Technical component for Greater Vancouver. These members work in private schools, as instructors and support staff colleges and institutes, in private environmental testing laboratories, and legal services to the public.
