The Trans-Pacific Partnership will have a drastic impact on public services and jobs in Canada. It would create a free-trade zone among 12 nations around the Pacific, making it the world's largest. The countries within its scope account for 40 per cent of the world's economic output.

Our speaker is Blair Redlin, a public policy researcher based in Vancouver, co-chair of Canada's national Trade Justice Network and retired staff representative of the Canadian Union of Public Employees. His areas of specialization include trade deals, transportation policy, privitization and Public-Private Partnerships (P3s).
