Vancouver Pride Season is here and the annual Pride Parade is coming up quick! 

The BCGEU participates each year and this year we have a new float design to celebrate the BCGEU centennial anniversary!

The Vancouver Pride Parade attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators every year. We are inviting members to join us in this year's parade and participate in one of North America's largest pride parades.

DATE: August 4, 2019

TIME: Parade starts at 12:00pm. We will begin gathering at 10:30 am.

LOCATION: Alberni and Bute (enter from the east side). Look for the BCGEU float or a BCGEU flag is the float has not arrived yet. You must be there before 12:00pm.

For those who have mobility issues there will be a bench on the float to sit on for the duration of the parade.

• Weather is usually hot so make sure you dress appropriately!

• We will have water available for marchers on the float.

• We will have Pride t-shirts for those who have not already received.

• We will be giving away swag to spectators.
