We're excited to welcome you to BCGEU's political action text bank in Vancouver.

During this non-partisan text bank, you'll be texting fellow BCGEU members about when and where they can vote in the provincial election. This is a non-partisan text bank and will not involve any discussion about the merits of the different parties or candidates. The goal is to increase voter turnout among workers. 

What: We will start the evening off with some training on how to use the texting software and a discussion about the political landscape in B.C. Then we will spend the rest of the evening texting members about where to vote during the advance vote.

When: October ^8th from 6PM-8:30PM

Where: 2920 Virtual Way Suite #130, Vancouver

How: If you are able, please bring your laptop to participate. The software we use is easiest to use on laptops but – in a pinch – your cell phone or a tablet will also do!

Why: To encourage BCGEU members to participate in the electoral process and increase voter turnout among workers
