As circumstances prevent in-class courses, we are pleased to offer online training to all stewards who have not had the 2 day Steward Fundamentals training. This course focuses on the essential skills every steward needs to know. You will be introduced to the key roles and responsibilities of a steward as advocate, educator, organizer and communicator.

In order to participate, you will need to have access to a laptop or tablet and have either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your internet browser. You will need a computer with internal audio or external speakers, a microphone and built in camera. It is possible but very challenging to do this on a smartphone.

Participants will be eligible for a leave of absence that requires approval from your supervisor. This means that you would be paid your regular wage, if you are scheduled to work that day, and the Union will reimburse your employer.
