Congratulations on your recent employment at Eckhardt House with Pacific Coast Community Resources (PCCR).

As you know, PCCR operates many worksites in the Okanagan Valley. The employees at these sites are union members of Local 307 of the British Columbia Government and Service Employees Union (BCGEU). As BCGEU members in the Community Social Services sector, they operate under the Community Living Services Collective Agreement, which is in place until March 31, 2022.

This Collective Agreement governs many topics related to your working conditions including but not limited to your wage, benefits, leaves, grievances, seniority, layoff, call-in shifts, overtime, and much more.

The BCGEU would like an opportunity to introduce ourselves to you, review your contract together, and answer any questions you may have.

 If there is sufficient interest, invite links to the meetings will be sent out in the weeks ahead of the event.

Please note: After the meeting you will be asked to participate in a secret ballot vote on whether to ratify the proposed agreement for your new worksite, and therefore be officially represented by BCGEU under it. You may participate in this vote regardless of whether you attend the meeting or not.
