Anti-bullying and Harassment Training

Bullying has become such a concern that government, unions and workplaces are recognizing the issue of bullying must be dealt with. We now have legislation, and many organizations have policy and/or collective agreement language, but we need training to fully understand the issue of bullying and what to do about it as workers, as employers and as a union. This course will educate and provide you with the skills to address bullying in the workplace in order to make it a safe and comfortable place to work.

In this course, you will learn:

  • Definition of what is bullying and what is not considered bullying
  • Causes of bullying
  • Legal requirements – Workers Compensation Board and collective agreement language
  • How to address the issue
  • Social media and cyber-bullying or harassment
  • Prevention strategies and actions

Before registering, make sure you can access zoom, by clicking the following link (laptop or PC with webcam recommended): https://zoom.us/test

This course is limited to 25 seats so register early to avoid disappointment.
