Mental Health: Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace

This one-day course focuses on creating workplace programs to enhance our mental health by using the 13 psychosocial factors identified in the 2013 National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace.

Objectives for this course include:

  • Learning about mental health and stigmatization
  • Understanding mental health legislation in regard to the workplace
  • Knowing the roles and responsibilities of everyone at the workplace
  • Learning about psychological health and safety in the workplace, focusing on the 13 psychosocial factors in the CSA Standard
  • Discussing self-care and what that looks like to you
