Bullying has become such a concern that government, unions and workplaces are recognizing the issue of bullying must be dealt with. We now have legislation, and many organizations have policy and/or collective agreement language, but we need training to fully understand the issue of bullying and what to do about it as workers, as employers and as a union. This course will educate and provide you with the skills to address bullying in the workplace in order to make it a safe and comfortable place to work.

In the Anti-bullying and Harassment course you will learn:

Definition of what is bullying and what is not considered bullying

Causes of bullying

Legal requirements – Workers Compensation Board and collective agreement language

How to address the issue

Social media and cyber-bullying or harassment

Prevention strategies and actions
