Anti-bullying and Harassment Training
Bullying has become such a concern that government, unions and workplaces are recognizing the issue of bullying must be dealt with. We now have legislation, and many organizations have policy and/or collective agreement language, but we need training to fully understand the issue of bullying and what to do about it as workers, as employers and as a union. This course will educate and provide you with the skills to address bullying in the workplace in order to make it a safe and comfortable place to work.

In this course, you will learn:

  • Definition of what is bullying and what is not considered bullying
  • Causes of bullying
  • Legal requirements – Workers Compensation Board and collective agreement language
  • How to address the issue
  • Social media and cyber-bullying or harassment
  • Prevention strategies and actions

This course is limited to 24 seats so register early to avoid disappointment.

The BCGEU invites and encourages employer representatives to attend BCGEU OHS training courses. Please share this registration link with your employer and co-committee members.
