On behalf of the Local 803 Executive, you are invited to attend your next union local meeting on Thursday – October 27, 2022 starting at 6pm at the BCGEU Lower Mainland Area Office. The meeting will be in-person but you can also choose to participate via zoom.

This meeting will be focused on an update on bargaining and other items.

Pizza and Soft drinks will be provided for participants who RSVP for in-person attendance, but please advise of any dietary allergies when you respond.

DIRECTIONS:

If you wish to attend in person: the BCGEU office is across the street from Renfrew Skytrain Station in the Broadway Tech complex (exact address: suite 130 – 2920 Virtual Way, Vancouver). If you are travelling by car, please park on the street as the underground parkade is locked in the evenings. When you reach the office, please proceed to ground level (two floors up from street level) and down the hall to the BCGEU meeting rooms and press the intercom to be let in.

All visitors to our buildings are required to follow BCGEU COVID-19 protocols. Please review them ahead of the meeting if you intend to attend in person.

BCGEU COVID PROTOCOLS:

- Verification of Vaccination Required: Upon entry to the BCGEU building, you will be asked to show your fully vaccinated QR Code for scanning as well as Government Issued ID.

- Mask Usage:

1. Attendees will be provided KN95 masks to use for the meeting.

2. Masks must be worn in all common areas of the BCGEU including meeting rooms and elevators.

3. During the meeting, presenters are able to remove their mask while presenting provided a two-metre distance can be maintained from other attendees.

Finally, please note that there is a strict "no scent" policy in place at BCGEU. If you are participating in person, please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or other scented products in consideration of members with scent sensitivities and allergies.
