Re: Local 804 Enhanced Steward Training

As you know, the role of a Steward in the workplace is an extremely important one, and we want to make sure that our Stewards are equipped with all the tools they need to continue to assist members every day. Many of you have already taken the stewards course, but you may be looking for a little more to add to your tool box in order to help you in your role.

That is why Local 804 is excited to provide a full day of education and networking to you and other stewards in your local. Topics for this jam packed workshop will include, Grievance handling refresher – tips and tricks, Joint Labour Management meetings, Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace, and communications/Union boards. 

All stewards in Local 804 are encouraged to attend this workshop and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Lunch and leaves of absence will be provided. Please ensure when you register, to advise of any food allergies, and the exact hours of work required for a leave of absence.
