MEETING: Public Service Bargaining Proposals Training for Members Employed by the BC Public Service

The focus of this Local 603 meeting is to provide Public Service Bargaining Proposals training to Local 603 members who work for the Public Service, prior to the upcoming Public Service round of bargaining for the 20^th Main Public Service Agreement and the 20^th Component 6 Agreement.

The training will include what is a bargaining proposal and what would not be a bargaining proposal. The training will also review the attached bargaining proposal forms, on which members can submit their bargaining proposals.

There will also be a meeting taking place via Zoom on September 4^th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., during which Local 603 members will be voting on the bargaining proposals to be submitted to Component 6 – Social, Information and Health. The Component Executive will meet to discuss and approve the bargaining proposals to be submitted to the BCGEU Public Service Bargaining Committee. A separate notice will be sent out for the meeting in September.
