Enhanced Steward training for Local 507 has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from

9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Okanagan Area Office, 1064 Borden Avenue, Kelowna. This training session will be a hybrid of STIIP/LTD, the role of Stewards, handling grievances and how to deal effectively with management. Stewards will leave feeling more confident and effective in their role and skillful in their interactions with members and the employer.

· A union-paid leave-of-absence is provided for this course.

· Travel, meal*, and accommodation, if required, are also provided.

· Reasonable child and/or other dependent care expenses may be reimbursed.
