Important Notice Regarding BCGEU Triennial Convention – June 10 - 13, 2020

A meeting to elect delegates and alternative delegates and to pass resolutions to be debated at the convention will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Every member of Local 503 is invited to participate in the meeting and is encouraged to consider running to be a delegate or alternative delegate. (Note: This meeting is to deal only with matters related to the BCGEU Triennial Convention to be held June 10 - 13, 2020).

Delegates (and Alternative Delegates) to the Convention will be elected by the members who attend the meeting on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in person or by telephone.

If you are interested in being a delegate to the Convention, complete the attached nomination form and return it to the Lower Mainland Area Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020. Nominations will also be accepted at the meeting on Sunday, March 1, 2020.

IMPORTANT: IN ORDER TO BE ELECTED, A PERSON MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE BCGEU. IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER OF THE BCGEU, PLEASE CONTACT A STEWARD TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM.

Call for Resolutions

Resolutions are put forward by members for members. In order for your Union leadership to carry out the work on behalf of the membership. Resolutions will be discussed and voted on at the meeting before being advanced to the Component 05 resolutions committee.
