You are invited to attend a one-day Enhanced Steward training for all Local 402 stewards and local executives. This full-day event is intended to build steward confidence and solidarity. The day is also a chance for stewards to get to know each other, the opportunity to discuss problems specific to Local 402 and to share strategies for addressing worksite issues.

You will learn more about:

· Facing Difficult Management in the Workplace

· Grievance Procedures

Location: BCGEU Office, 106-1650 Terminal Ave North, Nanaimo

(Please park in designated BCGEU parking spots.)

 You will not lose any pay as we pay your wage for the day, and your lunch is covered as well as any mileage and/or hotel, meals or childcare you may incur. You are an important part of the Union and training is important to properly represent your members.
