*Revised Time* Local 2003 meeting – February 28, 6-8pm

The BCGEU's 52^nd Triennial Constitutional Convention will be taking place from Wednesday, May 29 to June 1, 2024. BCGEU members will elect the President, Treasurer, and five Executive Vice Presidents and will determine the mandate of YOUR union over the next three years.

To attend Convention, you must be elected as a delegate (or alternate) of your Local, BCGEU Local 2003.

Nominations for delegates to convention are now open and will close when the chair announces the close of nominations at the Local 2003 General meeting on Wednesday February 28, starting at 6pm. If an election is required, ballots will only be emailed to members who have registered here before the end of the local meeting.

Resolutions will also be discussed and put forward for approval by the Component. Resolutions may ask that the Union take a position on an important issue, implement a new policy, or change the Constitution or structure of the BCGEU. Note that Convention resolutions are not the avenue to put forward Component bargaining proposals.
