Joint Labour Management Committee (JLMC) Workshop (Locals 407, 1007, 1707)

The Joint Labour Management Committee (JLMC) Workshop for the Union Caucus is designed to provide worker representatives on the committee, with the knowledge and tools to succeed in their role and empower them as activists.
At the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of:
• The labour-management relationship and what we are working towards,
• The JLMC and its purpose,
• The roles and responsibilities on the committee,
• The scope of the committee,
• The tools for an effective committee meeting, and
• Building purposeful working relationships in their role.
Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Please note that you must be on the union caucus of your JLMC to attend. You will receive a confirmation upon registering.

• If you haven't taken StepUp! it is highly recommended that you sign-up for this introductory course before or after attending this workshop. Visit the Events page or the Member Portal to find a course in your area.
• You can request a union-paid leave-of-absence from your employer for this workshop. We will send you the form to submit to your supervisor, upon request.
• Travel, meals, and accommodation, if required, are also provided.
• Reasonable child and/or other dependent care expenses may be reimbursed.
