You are invited to an informal Union meeting on the morning of Monday, May 14 with your BCGEU Local Chair, Amber Keane, and Staff Representative, Oliver Rohlfs. Amber and Oliver will tour the worksite beginning at 9:30 am, followed by a drop-in meeting in the Capilano Room on the 8^th floor between 10 am and 11 am.

Oliver will speak to Union members' rights and responsibilities re: progressive discipline and rights to Union representation under your collective agreement.

Amber wishes to engage in an open, more general conversation about challenges and concerns in your workplace. We will be available to answer any questions.

As BCGEU Local 703 chair, Amber is your elected representative within the Union. She represents Union members in the BCGEU's Education, Scientific and Technical component for Greater Vancouver. These members work in legal services to the public, as instructors and support staff in colleges and institutes, and in private environmental testing laboratories, among others.
