How can we prevent those aches, pains and strains that are caused by work? Soft tissue injuries account for the highest number of compensation claims and have an impact on your ability to perform tasks at work and at home. This course is intended to provide basic ergonomic information to committee members and to enable interested workers to conduct work station assessments. This course is a must for all types of work.
In this course you will learn:
· Requirements of the ergonomics regulation
· How to identify ergonomic hazards, to assess the risk factors of tasks and to recommend appropriate solutions
· Strategies for implementing an effective workplace ergonomics program
· How to conduct a workstation assessment
Note: If you have not taken your annual education leave, as mandated by the Workers' Compensation Act and your Collective Agreement - apply and ensure that youhave approval from your employer for this employer paid training.
