This course will cover off two subjects: for Local 408 and Local 808 stewards and local executives: 1.) Common Grievances (will analyze and assess various arbitration case summaries on subjects that are common grievances in the workplace. so you can integrate this information into your role as steward and implement the concepts when arguing grievances) AND 2.) Facing Difficult Management in the Workplace (will learn to recognize how traditional labour management relations have changed and specify the influences on each party in order to better relate to each other.
