We're excited to welcome you to BCGEU's remote political action text bank for Election Day 2024!

During this non-partisan text bank, you'll be texting fellow BCGEU members about when and where they can vote in the provincial election. The goal is to increase voter turnout among workers. 

What: We will meet on Zoom and start the morning off with some training on how to use the texting software and a brief discussion about the political landscape in B.C. Then we will spend the rest of the time texting members about where to vote on election day.

When: October 19^th from 10AM to 1PM.

Where: Zoom link to follow.

How: If you are able, please use your laptop to participate. The software we use is easiest to use on laptops but – in a pinch – your cell phone or a tablet will also do!

Why: To encourage BCGEU members to participate in the electoral process and increase voter turnout among workers
