STEWARDS FUNDAMENTALS, our new introductory, two-day course, focuses on the essential skills every steward needs to know. Through interactive group acitivities, role plays, and skills development, stewards are introduced to the key roles and responsibilities of a steward as advocate, educator, organizer and communicator. Stewards will leave feeling more confident and effective in their role and skillful in their interactions with members and the employer.

Lunch will be provided. Please ensure you advise your Supervisor/Employer that you plan on attending Union training. If you require a Union paid Leave of Absence or accommodation for this course, they will be emailed to you soon.
