This meeting will focus on resolution writing and submission for the BCGEU Triennial Convention scheduled for May 29-June 1, 2024. Members are encouraged to submit resolutions (form attached) through their local to be considered by all of the delegates to convention. Resolutions can:

Ask the Union to take a position on an important issue; Implement a new policy within the Union; Change the constitution, bylaws or structure of the Union; or Direct the Union to do something specific.

*It is important to note that resolutions around individual collective agreements will not be dealt with at convention.

Members who want to submit resolutions that deal with their collective agreement or issues specific to their worksites are encouraged to hold onto these specific resolutions and submit them to their bargaining committee in preparation for the next round of negotiations.
