Enhanced Steward Training

 In order to participate via zoom, you will need access to a laptop or tablet and have either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your internet browser. We will also need your current home email address.

 As in the past, you will still be eligible for a leave of absence and accomodation that needs approval from your supervisor. This means that you would be paid your regular wage, if you are scheduled to work that day, and the Union will reimburse your employer.

By order of the PHO, vaccination will be required to access indoor organized gatherings including conferences, meetings and workshops. Beginning September 13, 2021, you will be required to provide proof of at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine to access any BCGEU in-person training sessions and you will be required to provide proof of full vaccination by October 24, 2021. Please have your proof of vaccination ready upon entry to our training session. You will need to provide this to your course facilitator or designate.
