 Steward Fundamentals, our new introductory 2-day course, focuses on the essential skills every steward needs to know. Through interactive group activities, role-plays, and skills development, stewards are introduced to the key roles and responsibilities of a steward as advocate, educator, organizer and communicator. Stewards will leave feeling more confident and effective in their role and skilful in their interactions with members and the employer. Please register below and reserve your seat.

 Lunch will be provided. To ensure enough food is ordered, please RSVP no later than April 3, 2023.

 When registering online, please advise if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements. Please note: There are parking stalls at our location, however, if there is not adequate parking for everyone attending this training, receipted parking expenses will be reimbursed.

 As in the past, you will be eligible for a leave of absence. Please get approval from your supervisor prior to registering.

 If you require virtual attendance, please contact the area office.

PLEASE NOTE: You are required to wear a face mask when arriving at and departing and in all common areas of the area office including the elevator and meeting rooms. The area office will provide medical masks if needed.

 Once you are in the training masks will be optional if all attendees are in favour.
