Re: Bargaining Meeting Scheduled for April 6, 2020 Subject: Meeting Cancellation 
Yesterday, the World Health Organization declared that COVID-19 has escalated from a public health crisis to a pandemic. In light of this, the Provincial Executive of the BCGEU unanimously passed the following motion that took effect immediately and until at least May 2nd:

All non-essential BCGEU gatherings over 10 people will be postponed; Where possible, essential gatherings will be conducted remotely; and, The Executive Committee will monitor the situation and reassess as new information on the pandemic becomes available.

As a result, our meeting previously scheduled for April 6, 2020 at 4:45pm will be cancelled in-person. 

Rather, we will organize a conference call that you can call into so that you have any opportunity to ask any questions etc. The con-call number is 1-866-562-0090, Passcode is 753794. The meeting will start at the previously scheduled time of 4:45pm.
