It is that time of year again where each Local Chair– along with one (1) delegate per Local is asked to attend the upcoming Local Chair Plus One Day Session for 2022.

IMPORTANT: Please appoint a second delegate to represent your Local as your Plus One, this delegate must be from your Executive. Please advise the Peace River Area Office of your delegate choice and pass this information on to those you appoint in order that they may make the necessary arrangements to attend.

If you are needing to participate virtually, please contact the Area 10 office. 

Please RSVP to the Peace River Area Office no later than October 20, 2022.

If you require a Union-Paid Leave of Absence, please indicate this when you RSVP. Notify your supervisor immediately of the date you require off for Union Business and advise that paperwork will be coming.

Lunch will be provided if attending in-person. When registering, please advise if you have any allergies or other special dietary requirements.

Please register even if you don't need a leave of absence. This will ensure enough lunch is ordered for everyone.

IMPORTANT NOTE: BCGEU COVID-19 Protocols for the Day of Course – no exceptions

Proof of vaccination is required and verified by the area office using the BC Vaccine Card Verifier app. 

Members are required to wear a face mask while entering the building. A KN95 protective face mask will be provided to you upon arrival, which must be worn while in attendance at the BCGEU. No other facemasks will be permitted while in attendance except for the provided K95 face mask. 

Prior to entry to the building, all attendees are required to complete the following self-assessment by answering the questions at: https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en.

Please follow any directive of the self-assessment. If you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms, you will not be permitted to attend. We look forward to seeing you!
