The Union will be hosting an Enhanced Steward Training Day for Local 1009 Stewards and Executives. This training will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 9:00am to 4:30pm at the West Kootenay Area Office, 2316 Columbia Avenue, Castlegar.

Topics covered during this training will be: Duty to Accommodate Injured Workers and Strategies for Member Engagement.

A Union paid leave of abscence will be provided for this course.

Travel, meals and accommodation, if required, are also covered.
