Mask usage in BCGEU buildings (Updated Apr 27, 2023) :

Effective immediately, we are making a change to our building protocols regarding mask usage in our buildings.

Mask use is now optional in our buildings, including in common areas and meeting rooms.
Staff and visitors to BCGEU buildings may, of course, continue to use masks and other layers of protection based on their own comfort and risk factors. We ask that we respect others and wear masks if requested in groups.

Please be reminded that no one should attend BCGEU buildings if they have active cold or flu-like symptoms.

Thank you for stepping up to be a steward! This course is the next step on your learning pathway. This IN-PERSON two-day course is being offered to stewards who have not completed Steward Fundamentals training.

Registration deadline: May 6, 2022. Your union leave of absence (LOA) for this course will be sent to you shortly after registration. Please ensure you provide the number of paid hours you are scheduled to work on Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20, 2022 when registering for this course.

Once your LOA is received, please present it to your supervisor as soon as possible to secure your leave (LOA) approval. LOA instructions can be found on page 2 of leave forms.

Registration for this course is limited, and registrations will not be accepted after May 6, 2022. Please register early to secure your spot.
