As a "thank you" for your service to the membership of our Union, you and your spouse, or guest, are cordially invited to attend our 2022 Activist Appreciation Event. We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy a festive evening with your fellow activists, special guests, and Area Office staff.

Please note that it is BCGEU policy that where alcohol is served at an event, transportation to and from the event and/or accommodation for out of town guests, will be provided and paid for by the BCGEU - in accordance with BCGEU Financial Policy. Other costs associated with attending this Appreciation Night can be claimed in accordance with the amounts and eligible expenses indicated on the Union's Expense Claim Form. Such expense claims should be forwarded to the Kamloops BCGEU Office for approval and processing of reimbursement.

If you will require a leave of absence from work in order to attend this event, you should obtain verbal approval from your supervisor as soon as possible, while noting that the Union will provide you with the necessary paperwork for a Union-paid leave after the registration deadline. All those requiring accommodation will have rooms reserved for them at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops. Please Note: If you are requesting a hotel room, please register prior to October 5, 2022. If you do not require a hotel room, please register prior to October 14, 2022.

If you have a guest, please include their name and any dietary restrictions in the "Additional Info for this event" field.

We will not accept any late registrations.
