St. John Babysitting Basics

Babysitting is a job with significant responsibility and the Babysitting Course helps prospective babysitters learn the skills they need.

This course is restricted to youth ages 11-15 years old. (No Exceptions)

It teaches the new babysitter the necessary skills to provide care to children in a varitey of situations.

The course emphasizes safety rules, responding to emergencies, and developing leadership skills.

This is a one day course which will contain the following content:

Becoming a babysitter

Safe Play

Basic First aid

Changing Diapers

Healthy Meals

Bedtime Routines

Handling Emergencies

Lunch will be provided so we will need to know of any dietary restrictions.
