You will enjoy training dedicated to your role as a local executive officer that will include some fun, education/training and dedicated time to work on strategic planning for your local. This will be a perfect opportunity for you to connect with executive members from other locals, discuss common issues and build your activist network. The overall objective is to provide all officers with the knowledge, resources and relationships necessary to fulfill your responsibilities and obligations as local leaders.

The learning outcomes for this training are to orient you to your roles and responsibilities, understand union governance, gain familiarity with the BCGEU Constitution & Bylaws and to set the foundation to build strong locals that strengthen the BCGEU.
