Mask usage in BCGEU buildings (Updated Apr 27, 2023) :

Effective immediately, we are making a change to our building protocols regarding mask usage in our buildings.

Mask use is now optional in our buildings, including in common areas and meeting rooms.
Staff and visitors to BCGEU buildings may, of course, continue to use masks and other layers of protection based on their own comfort and risk factors. We ask that we respect others and wear masks if requested in groups.

Please be reminded that no one should attend BCGEU buildings if they have active cold or flu-like symptoms.

The Area 03 Cross Component Committee is hosting an afternoon at the Movies for all Area 03 BCGEU members and their families in the Lower Mainland. Maximum registration per family is 4 including the member. (Member and 3 guests).

Place: Cineplex Metropolis at Metrotown

Time: 1:00 to 3:00 pm

We are excited to be hosting a private screening of the movie Sing 2! Once registration is confirmed an e-ticket will be emailed to you prior to the event. THERE WILL BE NO WALK INS. Anything purchased at the concession will be at your expense. You must comply with local and provincial public health directives regarding COVID-19, including without limitation masking and vaccine passport rules in effect on the day of the event:

· At this time, masking is required when not eating/drinking

· Proof of vaccination required upon entry - guests should have their QR Code/App and matching government ID ready.

The BCGEU Code of Conduct is in effect at all Cross Component events. Any participant engaging in unacceptable behaviour may be asked to leave and not invited to future events.
