 Re Steward Fundamentals for all BCGEU newly elected stewards

 Steward Fundamentals, our new introductory 2-day course, focuses on the essential skills every steward needs to know. Through interactive group activities, role-plays, and skills development, stewards are introduced to the key roles and responsibilities of a steward as advocate, educator, organizer and communicator. Stewards will leave feeling more confident and effective in their role and skillful in their interactions with members and the employer.

 Paid leaves from work, accommodation, travel and meal expenses, if required, will be paid for by the Union. Lunch will be provided for the days you are in class.

 The course is scheduled for:

Date: April 24 & 25, 2018

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (The office opens at 8:30 a.m.)

Location: BCGEU North Island Area Office
