Area 01 Cross Component Committee would like to invite you to a workshop on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 intended to explore, create and invigorate this musical tradition. In this workshop, there is no previous musical experience required; in any way shape or form; simply a desire to express and participate. If you just want to sing, you can sing!

If you play an acoustic instrument, please bring them along!

In this workshop we will be focusing on the songs of the last workshop and some new ones. We will look at the history and content of the songs, and ways to continue making them relevant today. Lyrics can always be modified and adapted, but some of these songs are as true today as they were 100 years ago!

We hope to see you there and share in the joy of song, build solidarity and have some fun!
