A Steward Fundamentals course has been scheduled for your area. Please take a moment to register for this course.

Steward Fundamentals is our two-day foundation-level course for all Stewards in our Leadership, Education and Activism Program (LEAP). It will introduce you to your key roles and responsibilities as a steward and help you develop the essential skills you will need. Through discussion, interactive group activities and role-plays, you will be introduced to the key roles and responsibilities of a steward as advocate, educator, organizer, and communicator. Stewards will leave feeling more confident and effective in their role and skillful in their interactions with members and the employer.

A union-paid leave-of-absence is provided for this course. Please provide how many hours you work per shift on the registration form. Lunch ill be provided, please advise of dietary restrictions and/or allergies.

· Priority will be given to Stewards who have not received this training, or not in the past 6 years.
