Basic Steward Training:  

The Covid pandemic prevents us from gathering for face-to-face steward training but we are pleased to offer an interim basic steward seminar online. This training webinar is for you if you are a steward but have not yet attended our Steward Fundamentals course.

 By the end of this webinar, you will understand:

® your rights and responsibilities as a steward

® how to get started as a steward

® the grievance procedure

 Stewards will leave feeling more confident and effective in their role and skillful in their interactions with members and the employer.

This course is for elected stewards and local officers who have not previously taken the Fundamentals Steward Training in the past five year.

A union-paid leave-of-absence (if requested) is provided for this course for the hours of the course.

This is a two day course, from 9 am – 1 pm each day

Date: April 26 and April 27, 2022

Time:  9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. each day
