Bullying has become such a concern that government, unions, and workplaces are recognizing the issue of bullying must be dealt with. We now have legislation, and many organizations have a policy and/or collective agreement language, but we need training to fully understand the issue of bullying, and what to do about it as workers, as employers, and as a union. This course will educate and provide you with the skills to address bullying in the workplace in order to make it a safe and comfortable place to work.

In the Anti-bullying and harassment course you will learn:

• Definition of what is bullying and what is not considered bullying

• Causes of bullying

• Legal requirements – Workers Compensation Board and collective agreement language

• How to address the issue

• Social media and cyber-bullying or harassment

• Prevention strategies and actions

A light supper will be provided at 5:30 pm.

Space is limited. If you cannot attend, please be sure to cancel your registration at least 48 hours ahead of the training.

Will you come?
