A Steward Fundamentals course has been scheduled for your area. Please take a moment to register for this course. Steward Fundamentals is our two-day foundation-level course for all stewards in our Leadership, Education and Activism Program (LEAP). It will introduce you to your key roles and responsibilities as a steward and help you develop the essential skills you will need. Through discussion, interactive group activities and role-plays, you will be introduced to the key roles and responsibilities of a steward as advocate, educator, organizer and communicator. Stewards will leave feeling more confident and effective in their role and skillful in their interactions with members and the employer.

· A union-paid leave-of-absence is provided for this course.

· Travel, meals and accommodation, if required, are also provided.

· Reasonable child and/or other dependent care expenses may be reimbursed.
