Space is limited to 40 children, so please register early. A waitlist will be created once capacity is reached.

Registration opens December 10 and closes December 16.

After registering your child(ren), you will receive an email with instructions for completing Santa's questionnaire. The questionnaire must be submitted by December 17 so Santa's BCGEU Elves can prepare and send out the letters before Christmas.

The first 40 completed questionnaires received will get a personalized Letter from Santa plus a special gift.

The Local 403 General Meeting will take place on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. This meeting will be hybrid and members of the Local can join the meeting online through Zoom link or attend in-person at the BCGEU's Lower Mainland Area Office. The office address is 130-2920 Virtual Way, Vancouver.

All BCGEU members and their families are welcome to join us for a Winter Celebration event, skating at the Nakusp Arena - Sunday, December 21st from noon until 2:00 pm.

Your Area 09 Cross Component Committee

Steward Fundamentals is a two-day foundation-level course for new Area 03 Stewards or Area 03 Stewards who have not taken the course within the past six years. It focuses on the essential skills every steward needs to know. Through discussion and interactive group activities, you will be introduced to the key roles and responsibilities of a steward as advocate, educator, organizer, and communicator. Stewards will leave feeling more confident, effective in their role, and skillful in their interactions with members and the employer. 

This course is for Area 03 elected Stewards, and Local Officers who have not previously taken the Steward Fundamentals Training.

A union-paid leave-of-absence (LOA) is provided for this course. If you require a LOA, please provide how many hours you are scheduled to work per shift on the registration form. Lunch will be provided, please advise of dietary restrictions and/or allergies.
