    Henny Hanegraaf's Retirement Party

    Please join us in celebrating the retirement of Staff Representative, Henny Hanegraaf. After 23 long years fighting for the rights of the membership, she retired in late February 2017. Now that she is back from some well-deserved vacation time, we want to give members an opportunity to say goodbye and let her know her efforts haven't gone unnoticed. 

    This will be a POTLUCK event at the Legion in Castlegar on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

    We ask that you RSVP below and include the dish or item you wish to bring under the "dietary restrictions/allergies" space provided.

    Incident Investigation in Victoria, BC , BC, Canada

    Labour Code OHS Incident Investigations

     

     

    An incident happens at your work place and you suddenly get a call to participate in an investigation. What do you do? What is the purpose of an investigation? What is required? This course will answer all these questions and provide you with the opportunity to improve you're investigative skills.

     

     

    In this course you will learn:

     

    •The legislative requirements for conducting accident/incident investigations

     

    •How to get to the contributing factors by conducting effective witness interviews and examining physical evidence

     

    •How to assess the evidence in order to recommend effective corrective measures

     

     

    8 hours of annual OH&S committee education, to be paid by the employer, is legally required under the Workers Compensation Act (Division 4, Section 135) and collective agreements.
