Vancouver’s pride parade is one of the largest in the world and the BCGEU will be there!

Every year the BCGEU joins with other unions as we march to celebrate pride and have a ton of fun. 

This year will be the first year that the BCGEU will feature a float in the parade and with the important work that so many of our members do every day we have chosen honour them with an “All Star” theme for the float.

The parade begins at 12:00 on Sunday, July 31. We will be meeting earlier that morning to prepare.  Refreshments will be provided.

Location TBD - Each year a rally point is identified by the Vancouver Pride Society for groups who will be marching. A follow up email will be sent once we've been notified of our rally point.

NOTE: The weather will likely be VERY hot so we encourage you to dress appropriately, wear sunscreen, bring your sunglasses, and make sure you are well hydrated.  We will be handing out water to our marchers as well.
