Are you interested in finding out more about your Union and what is going on in your Local? Would you like to find out how to become more active in your Union and meet your fellow workers to discuss common issues and strategize solutions?

Please join us at your next general meeting of your local on April 4. You are warmly invited to attend.

Please note that at this meeting, the local will be moving a motion to add a member-at-large as an equity and diversity representative to the local executive.

Candidates for the equity worker representative position will have to self-identify in at least one of the four equity groups: 1) Aboriginal, 2) workers with a disability, 3) workers of colour or 4) gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender workers.

Local 703 meeting dates have also been set for the rest of 2019: they are April 4, June 6, September 12 and October 24. Please mark your calendars!
