AGENDA

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss local elections, accept additional nominations, and connect with the local as we enter a new calendar year.

Nominations are open for all local 1003 executive positions, as follows:

Chairperson 1 position

1^st Vice Chairperson 1 position

2^nd Vice Chairperson 1 position

Treasurer 1 position

Recording Secretary 1 position

Member-at-Large 4 positions

The local may designate one member-at-large position to be filled by a young worker representative. Young workers are defined as 29 years of age or younger. 

The BCGEU Nomination form (FA-80) must be used and should be submitted at this meeting. The form may also be submitted to the area office by fax, email, mail, or handed in personally, no later than 5:00 pm Thursday, February 4, 2022. 

If an election is required, all candidates may provide one page (8½ x 11) for copying and distribution to members with ballots. This must be provided to the area office within one business day of the close of nominations, 5:00 pm Thursday, February 4, 2022. Please contact the area office for more information on candidate rights and responsibilities.
